I volunteered in Weeklub for six weeks in November and December of the year 2018. Without any hesitation, I can say it was one of the best experiences in my life. I taught students from 5 to 30 years old, in groups and individually, English and Russian languages. I had all kind of materials ready for me and total support from my superiors there.
Julisa is not only the best boss you can hope for, but also is an incredible host. She hosts all volunteers that come to work in Weeklub in her house and provides them a room, food and her attention. I felt safe being there.
Texcoco is a small town near Mexico City, only 40 minutes on the bus. As I had my weekends free, every weekend I went to Mexico City and was able to explore this big and beautiful capital. So not only I had excellent professional experience, but I was also able to enjoy the touristic side.
I would totally recommend this project.
